Silly Saturday!

Remember when you used to think about what it would be like to have kids, how fun you imagined it to be. Well, right now is that time for us. It is so easy to forget how hard it can be and enjoy being a parent right now. Tyson is hilarious, he is non-stop.

This past week was a rough one for us at daycare. He came home on Thursday with two bite marks on his arms. I don't think we prepared ourselves for this one. It was hard not to be angry but we really just had to move on. Daycare was supportive, they let us know they spent plenty of time with him to make sure he was okay, even tried to ice the battle wounds. I asked if he did anything to make the other child want to bite him, the answer was no. They were just sitting at snack time. Like I said, we really just had to figure out how to let that one go. Friday they called me at work to tell me he fell and hit is cheek and eye on the corner of a table, as they tell me the mommy guilt feelings start roaring while I am working away. I had to leave a few minutes early, my ability to concentrate was obviously gone. After the traffic made it close to a 1 hour drive to the daycare, Tyson had forgotten all about his fall and seemed to be carrying on like normal when I arrived. He is a trooper and seems to be doing just fine. Really a rough one for Tyson this week. All and all he is doing well with daycare, really. He is learning so much from being around other kids, good stuff too! We can take him anywhere and he will fit right in. He even goes right to the other parents at Church and at the child watch center during service and while we interact with other adults. We can't complain!

Yesterday Tyson got into the toilet paper. We really wanted to be mad but it was so funny. We just laughed and let him carry on. He is exploring everything. We have our hands full right now but it is really so much fun! Check out the video, he is blowing kisses and saying Hi ... what a charmer!
