It has been so incredible to be near family. Dinner with my parents, a quick trip to my brother's, an afternoon with my nephew's ... sometimes it still feels like we are visiting. We do sometimes miss Cincinnati ... we were really starting to call that place home. We must have brought some of the Cincinnati weather with us ... apparently this is the coldest winter Atlanta has had in 10 years! One night of rain, the next morning the roads were a sheet of ice. This caused a 27 car pile up on the interstate and it felt like the entire city shut down!
The neighborhood we moved into is great! If we were golfer's it would be even better ... This one is for Aimee ... Jeremy would LOVE it here. We have a golf course in our backyard!!
The kids are all adapting very well. The twins have been changing so much. I will dedicate a post to each of them soon. In brief for now ... Dakota has 4 teeth, is sitting up, trying to crawl, eating fruit, vegetables and puff snacks and says "da-da." Jaxson is behind in the teeth category but could beat his sister in a race. He is everywhere!! It started with the army crawl, and now he can get across the room in no time. He is eating fruits, vegetables, and puffs snacks. He also says "da-da" and is still wearing 6 month clothes. Tyson has been working hard on his colors ... he was showing off this morning naming off what color everything in the house was ... red, blue, yellow, orange, purple, green, pink, brown, black, and white! He will sing the alphabet and count with us. He loves writing and painting and he is really picking up on everything we say. The other day Brian asked him if he had fun playing in the sandbox, his response. "Well, actually dad, I got sand in my eye!" He is a riot!
Brian celebrated his 30th birthday during all of this craziness!! His parents and little brother planned a visit and surprised him. They stayed for a week ... it was so great to see them! Thanks so much for coming all this way ... we miss you and think about you all of the time!!
I still can't find that camera cord. I borrowed one from my brother (he has the same camera)

So good to see you guys, even if it is just in pictures. I'm sure your family LOVES having you in Atlanta and we'll make the trip soon as soon as I can convince Jeremy (the golf will help). Love you!
