Soccer Obsession

We have an athlete on our hands! Tyson loves his soccer team and just about everything about soccer. He wears soccer shoes every day, soccer shorts to bed; every t-shirt has to have a "number" on it. The soccer ball goes everywhere we go, we always need to know what time it is ... "is it soccer time?" Is it game day? Is it practice day?


He is learning how to be a team player, a good listener, and he is getting exercise!! We can't be more proud of how well he has taken to the game. He can't wait to get out on the field! Last Saturday was our first game. He was the furthest from shy; actually he was a little too aggressive. We had to remind him that soccer was not football, no tackling allowed! The team took turns in groups of three on three. A few of his teammates were "uninterested" when it was their turn to play; Tyson was the 1st to raise his hand as a volunteer...!

To make it even better, the weather has been GEORGEOUS! Spring is in the ATL ... Finally!! The babies enjoy the morning sunshine and we get out of the house and interact with other adults on the weekend ... can you believe it. Even if it is at a soccer field ... :)

This past week we celebrated Billy's 15th birthday! Happy Birthday BB! Watch out drivers, he is getting his permit soon!!!
