Michigan Wedding / Father's Day

We survived another road trip! We had a fantastic weekend in Michigan. This weekend was packed with fun! We attended a wedding for a close friend of the Jones family and celebrated Father's Day just the way Brian wanted to ... with 4wheelers and a lot of time outside to ride!

We arrived Friday afternoon and the fun started there. Keegan and Tyson played until the sun went down and then decided a bubble bath in Grandma's bath tub would be a fun time ... we underestimated the amount of fun they could really have! Check out those bubbles!!

Grandpa Jones has two very close friends that he grew up with, Randy and Ralph. Randy's daughter Lisa got married on the river this past weekend. The weather was beautiful, perfect for an outside wedding! The reception started with an outside patio dinner and music and dancing and then a boat ride down the river for the night!

Here is a picture of the family before the ceremony. It took place in a gazebo right on the river!

The kids ... Adam, Melissa and Chris, Megan and Rob, Brian and I ... it is so hard to get a good picture of all of us ... thought this one turned out nice!

The girls ... me, Megan, Janeen and Melissa.

The boys .... Rob, Mike, Brian, Chris and Adam.

Brian and Momma J having fun on the boat reception.

Below is a picture of Mike, Ralph and Randy's children. Whenever we get together for a wedding they try to get a picture of all of the kids. What a great tradition! Lisa made a beautiful bride!

The skyline of Detroit behind us from the boat. We cruised passed the Ambassador bridge to Canada and back for the night. We had so much fun ... another friend of the family was watching the kids for us. This was the first time Brian and I ventured out for this long without the twins. We managed to have fun ... they were patiently waiting for us upon our arrival back to Grandma and Grandpa's house :)

Father's day was a blast for Brian. I have to say that if anyone deserved a happy father's day it was my husband. He is an amazing father and I can't thank him enough for everything he does for our family. Tyson is growing to be just like him with his love of the outdoors, cars, and of course 4wheelers!! They spent all day outside with each other switching from one motorized vehicle to the next. This was a picture from when they were clean ... at the end of the day Tyson was covered in mud and went through at least 3 outfits ... it was so worth it to see the smiles on both of their faces.

I also want to mention Grandpa Rose and Grandpa Jones. Thank you so much for all you do for us. You too, are amazing father's and Grandpa's. We would not be where we are today without all of your love and support for us and our families. You are both amazing people and we love you!!

Tyson and Keegan helping Grandpa with the firewood.

Brian wore himself out and needed a little nap with the twins.

Nap time with daddy on Father's Day ... yes, Jaxson got stuck on his sister's pink blanket ... it happens :)

More fun in the mud ...

Snack time! Tyson would not even come inside to eat his snack so we made them a table outside ... saved a clean up session and made for happy two year olds!

We tried for a picture of all of the grandkids ... Kane (8 months) Tyson and Keegan (2 years old) and Jaxson and Dakota (2 months)

Wow ... what a weekend!!
