2 Months!

Wow ... the past two months have been WILD! We are happy to report that the twins had their two month check up and are doing fantastic! Here are a few pictures and stats to share.


Jaxson Thomas finally passed his sister up weighing in at 8lbs 9oz but not in height, now 20 1/2 inches long.

Dakota Rose is weighing in at 8lbs 6oz and is almost 21inches long!

Dakota is finally fitting in some of her newborn clothes ... no more preemie wear!

Jaxson is smiling ... so cute!!

We have struggled with reflux the past couple of weeks but the doctor put us on some meds to help. Last night and today if felt like feeding two completely different babies ... I am sure they both feel so much better!

They amaze me everyday and are they both are developing their own personalities. Dakota is pretty easy to please, she likes to eat first and then have some time on her belly. Jaxson is our slow eater, takes his time and needs to be held for a little while after he eats. Jaxson still stays awake much more than Sis but much less fussy now that we hopefully conquered the reflux!

They were still charted as preemies but are working their way to the full term chart. Even though they are basically the same size Jaxson is charting further behind than Dakota ... male and female charts are different.

They have successfully gone 5 hrs between at least one feeding at night. So when they whole cycle is complete daddy and I have managed to get 3 1/2 solid hrs of sleep on several occasions!

They will have another appointment in 4 weeks for a weight check!!
